I learned to ride as a teenager. I spent a lot time riding the back roads around my small home town in North Texas. For some strange reason, I stopped riding when I left for college. A couple of years ago I got the bug to ride again. I didn't have a clue what kind of bike I wanted. I ended up walking into a Kawasaki dealer and buying a Vulcan 800, mainly because I liked the way it looked. A few months later, I saw a KLR650 and immediately realized that a dual sport would be perfect type of bike for me.

During the last couple of years, I've spent as much time as possible riding the National Forest and mountain roads of Western Washington. At this point, I can't imagine not having a bike to ride. In fact, I think I start to have withdrawal systems when I don’t get to ride for a few days!

Currently, I live in a small townhouse in Kent with my two Jack Russell Terriers, Brandy and Bailey.
